Regional Express (Rex) has released its core flight schedule for the Snowy Mountains
(Cooma) to Sydney route which will operate throughout the upcoming summer.

The five weekly return services will operate in conjunction with Rex’s Sydney to Merimbula
service. This consistent weekly service has been coupled with a dedicated service on
Sundays to suit both the tourist market as well as business people travelling to Sydney for
early morning Monday meetings.

Additional direct flights will be added to the core schedule during the winter snow season in
2018 and these flights will be released in the coming months.

Rex has also released a special promotional fare of $129* one-way between Sydney and
the Snowy Mountains. Early-Bird sales are available outside of 30 days prior to departure
subject to booking class availability and Last-Minute sales are available for all remaining
unsold seats within 1 day prior to departure.

REX have released their 2017 winter schedule. With up to 12 return flights a week in peak season there are plenty of opportunities to head to the Snowy Mountains this winter.

REX have announced a special ‘Early Bird’ and ‘Last Minute’  fare for the summer months of only $129 for travel up to 31 May, 2017

This fare is a boon to those looking at visiting the mountains or heading to Sydney but must be booked at least 30 days before travelling and for that last minute trip, is also available 24 hours prior to the day of travel.

The special promotional fare is only available on the Rex website for $129 each way (plus a booking/handling fee and a credit/debit card surcharge).

With great fanfare and ceremony, air services to Snowy Mountains Airport commenced on the 23 March with the inaugural flight from Sydney for REX flight ZL735

A traditional water cannon welcome was just the start of the celebrations and in the presence of VIPs and plenty of local dignitories a cake was cut and the first passengers made ready for the return flight.

Chairman of Snowy Mountains Airport, Kevin Blyton said "The availability of regular year round flights to and from Sydney will provide an important link for the people of the Snowy Mountains"

Regional Express (REX) has released additional winter services between Sydney and the Snowy Mountains between 10 June and 2 October, 2016.

Regional Express (Rex), in partnership with Snowy Mountains Airport Corporation Pty Ltd (SMAC), has today announced that it will commence Regular Public Transport (RPT) services between Sydney and the Snowy Mountains (Cooma) in March 2016.

Services will commence from Wednesday 23 March 2016 for the Easter period, with the core schedule of five return services per week commencing from Monday 28 March 2016. Additional services on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays will operate through the ski season.
